Kokopelli is the Native American god of music, good fortune,
and good times, dating back over 4000 years. He is found in the
remains of ancient cultures throughout the America southwest and
into Central and South America. In honor of this fun-loving, hunch-backed
flute player, the owners of Crozet’s landmark music venue
have named their coffeehouse, cafe and music bar, Kokopelli's
Café.
Kokopelli's opens every morning at 8:00 am, and serves coffee,
lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, a large selection of hot teas,
and smoothies and juices to drink. "Breakfasty" items
such as quiche of the day, bagels, and pastries are available
Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, the Breakfast Buffet
features omelets, French toast, sausage-gravy and biscuits, scrambled
eggs, sausgage, bacon, home fries, grits, and the house special
Heuvos Christos.
At 11:00 am every day, Kokopelli's breaks out lunch - showcasing
our signature wraps, great sandwiches, homemade soups, salads,
and burgers. Check out the "menus" page for a complete
listing.
Kokopelli's has a full dinner menu where you can dine on crabcakes,
wraps, steaks, fresh fish, sandwiches, and vegetarian fare as
well as cold weather seasonal specials like meatloaf, chicken
pot pie, and beef stew.
Kokopelli's is the exclusive Chap's ice cream parlor for western
Albemarle County. We offer cones and sundaes all day, every day.
We feature live music every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
when you can listen to local and national talent playing rock,
jazz, blues, country, and folk. Please see our "music"
page for schedules of events.
